Conseil administratif de l'ICI :

Le conseil de l’Institut est responsable de l’établissement des politiques et de la gestion de l’Institut. Le conseil est composé de membres autorisés à voter et de membres non-autorisés à voter. Les membres autorisés à voter sont : le président, le président-élu, le dernier président sortant, le trésorier et un membre de chaque société-membre. Les membres autorisés à voter sont élus ou nommés pour une période selon les règlements de l’Institut.
Le directeur général est membre de l’Institut et membre du conseil mais n’est pas autorisé à voter. Il est secrétaire du conseil.

Personne ne peut assumer des fonctions or agir comme membre du conseil à moins d’être membre en bonne et due forme.

Le Président de chaque commission permanente du conseil est membre non-autorisé à voter.

Maintaining Professional Competency

Today’s engineers and other professionals in the engineering sciences are aware that provincial regulatory bodies are presently examining the issues of life long learning, and the requirements for maintaid in terms of PDHs. Since the quality of participation is not standardized and cannot be rated the same as CEUs, relevant guidelines must be ionally and internationally, thus helping Canadian engineers to maintain their professional expertise and remain competitive in today’s marketplace.
