Member Societies of the EIC
The Federation is presently composed of six self-governing Member Societies:
Individual membership in the Federation is through these six Member
Societies.
Group of Canadian engineers with common interests in widely recognized
fields of engineering may apply to become Member Societies of the Federation.
In addition to its own individual objectives and actions (see back page),
the EIC and the Member Societies also have the following objectives:
- To promote the creation, exchange and dissemination of technical information
for both technical and public interest.
- To organize conferences and symposia on engineering topics and to promote
continuing education for engineers.
- To provide engineers across Canada with opportunities to share in,
debate and express views on engineering issues and contributions to Canadian
life.
- To support engineering student achievement.
